Our Story
Plumbing Work You Can Rely On at Home
KasihTap was built around one idea: homeowners deserve a plumber who shows up prepared, explains the work clearly, and leaves the bathroom tidy.
Back to HomeWho We Are
Built Around the Jobs That Actually Matter at Home
KasihTap grew out of a straightforward observation: many plumbing calls in Malaysian homes are for the same handful of problems — dripping mixer taps, leaking bidet hoses, and rough-in work during bathroom renovations. Most general contractors tackle these jobs alongside dozens of other trades, which means rushed work and parts that sometimes do not quite fit.
We decided to narrow the scope. By focusing on three service areas, we carry the right cartridges, the right valves, and the right tools from the first visit. There is no second trip to source a part, and no guesswork at the sink.
Operating from Bangsar, we serve homes across Kuala Lumpur and the wider Klang Valley. Our work is confirmed by test before the invoice — every tap turns smoothly, every hose joint stays dry, and every drain alignment is checked against the client's layout before we pack up.
Our Mission
Fewer Repeat Visits, Better Work
The KasihTap mission is simple: handle a focused range of home plumbing tasks with the attention and parts quality they deserve. We are not trying to be the biggest name in KL plumbing — we are trying to be the one you recommend to your neighbour without hesitation.
Prepared first visits. Parts and tools loaded before we arrive, based on the job you described.
Transparent pricing. Rate confirmed before work starts — no additions appear on the invoice.
On-site verification. Every job tested and checked before we leave the premises.
Tidy workspace. Tools contained, surfaces protected, area cleaned after completion.

Standards
How We Work — Our Protocols
Pre-Loaded Parts
Before each appointment we stock the vehicle with cartridges, hose sets, and fittings appropriate to the job description. Most standard Malaysian tap models are covered without a second sourcing trip.
Leak-Free Sign-Off
Water supply is restored and joints are checked under pressure before we close up. We wait a few minutes and inspect again — sign-off only happens when there is nothing to sign off against.
Safety at the Stopcock
Main water isolation is handled carefully and confirmed with the homeowner before any work begins. Lines are depressurised correctly to avoid water hammer or backflow issues during the job.
Clean Work Area
Drop cloths are placed under sink cabinets and around toilet bases before work starts. Swarf, old seals, and packaging leave with us in a sealed bag.
Written Confirmation
Appointment details and the agreed service scope are sent via WhatsApp before the visit. The invoice is issued only after the job is complete and tested — no charges added on-site without prior agreement.
Contractor Coordination
For renovation jobs, we communicate the plumbing scope directly with the client's contractor to avoid clashing schedules or work that gets covered before it is inspected.
Home Plumbing in Kuala Lumpur — What KasihTap Brings to the Work
Residential plumbing in the Klang Valley covers a wide range of fixture types — from mixer taps with ceramic cartridges to older pillar taps, bidet sprayer sets in various thread sizes, and toilet cisterns using both bottom-fill and side-fill valves. Knowing which part fits which fitting without having to order in takes time to learn, and that practical knowledge is built through repetition across many home visits.
KasihTap's work centres on the types of plumbing that homeowners call about most: taps that drip or stiffen, bidet hoses that weep at the T-valve connection, toilet tanks that overfill or cycle constantly, and the rough-in coordination that bathroom or kitchen renovations require before tiles go down. Each of these calls for a different set of tools and parts, and we carry them organised by job type so that time on-site is spent on the work rather than on sourcing.
For renovation plumbing specifically, timing is important. Water lines need to be routed and drain positions confirmed before the screed goes in. Fixture mounting points need to be positioned at the right height for the fittings the homeowner has chosen. We work with contractors on these details directly, which keeps the renovation programme on track and avoids the cost of cutting into newly tiled walls.
