1. Definitions

• Service — the home plumbing services provided by KasihTap, including mixer tap servicing, bidet hose and toilet tank repair, and renovation-phase plumbing setup.
• User / You — any person visiting this website or engaging KasihTap for services.
• We / Us / KasihTap — KasihTap, registered in Malaysia, operating from 92 Jalan Bangsar, 59100 Kuala Lumpur.
• Agreement — these Terms and Conditions together with any written or WhatsApp-confirmed booking.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or engaging KasihTap for a service appointment, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement, and accept these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this website or engage our services.

3. Service Description and Availability

KasihTap provides residential plumbing services in Kuala Lumpur and parts of the Klang Valley. Service availability is subject to appointment scheduling, geographic coverage, and staff capacity. We reserve the right to decline a service request if it falls outside our scope or coverage area.

Services are provided Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 6:00pm, and Saturday between 8:00am and 1:00pm. Sunday and public holiday visits are not standard; enquire separately if needed.

4. Booking and Appointments

• Bookings are confirmed via phone or WhatsApp. A booking is confirmed only when KasihTap sends a written confirmation of the appointment time and agreed scope.
• You are responsible for ensuring access to the relevant areas of the property at the agreed time.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
• We will inform you in advance of any change to the confirmed appointment time.

5. Pricing and Payment

Service rates are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and confirmed before work begins. No additional charges are added on-site without prior agreement. Prices shown on this website are indicative starting rates; final pricing is confirmed at booking based on the specific scope.

• Mixer Tap Servicing: from RM 245 per appointment (1–2 taps)
• Bidet Hose & Toilet Tank Repair: from RM 285 per toilet unit
• Renovation-Phase Plumbing Setup: from RM 1,400 per bathroom or kitchen

Payment is due upon completion of work. Accepted methods include cash and electronic transfer (TNG, DuitNow). Invoices are issued after the job is complete and tested.

6. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about the problem at the time of booking.
• Ensure the property is accessible and safe for the plumber to work in.
• Know the location of the main water stop valve before the appointment.
• Inform us of any pre-existing conditions (water pressure issues, old pipework) that may affect the work.
• Not use the website for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, design, images, and structure — is the property of KasihTap or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission. Use of this website grants you a limited, non-exclusive licence to view the content for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

8. Service-Specific Terms

Mixer Tap Servicing: The service covers cartridge replacement and related work on standard single-lever mixer taps. Non-standard or imported tap bodies may require sourcing additional parts not carried on the day; this will be discussed with you before proceeding.

Bidet Hose and Tank Repair: Work covers standard residential bidet sprayer sets and cistern fill valves. Structural cracks in cisterns or external pan damage are outside scope.

Renovation Plumbing: Covers rough-in plumbing before tiling. Any changes to the agreed layout after rough-in is sealed may require additional work and cost, which will be quoted separately.

9. Disclaimers

Services are provided with reasonable care and skill. KasihTap does not warrant that work will resolve issues caused by underlying structural problems, severely corroded pipework, or non-standard fittings that cannot be sourced. We will advise on such situations as they arise.

This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind regarding accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

KasihTap's liability for any claim arising from a service visit is limited to the amount paid for that visit. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses including loss of use of facilities, water damage caused by pre-existing conditions discovered during work, or delays caused by factors outside our control.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify KasihTap against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of this website, or provision of inaccurate information that affects the service outcome.

12. Termination

Either party may withdraw from a confirmed booking with reasonable notice. If KasihTap terminates a booking due to unsafe working conditions or misrepresentation of the scope at the address, no charge is made. If work has commenced before cancellation, a partial charge may apply based on work completed.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute will first be addressed through direct negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be referred to mediation before any formal legal proceedings. The courts of Kuala Lumpur have jurisdiction over any remaining dispute.

14. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the confirmed booking, constitute the entire agreement between you and KasihTap for the services described.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
